From a mixture of milk and water, a Hansa (swan) drinks only milk and leaves the water.
And Nitai is Param-Hansa Shiromani. (69th name from 108 names of Nitai written by Shrila Nitaipreshthji Gurudev)
This means He is the topmost ignorer of all your bad qualities and disqualifications. He just accepts whatever little goodness is there in you and bestows upon you His boundless mercy based on that tiny goodness.
O Nitai, you may fulfill all my desires. Or all my desires may remain unfulfilled. My only prayer to You is “keep me engaged in your devotional service till the end of my life without any expectation of wish fulfillment”.
My major realisation of recent Navadvip Yatra with Nitai Sena was:
“I miss Ekachakra!!!!!!! Take me back!”
Nitai Bhakti aisi karo ki Guru ko aap pe naaz ho.
Aur Guru Bhakti aisi karo ki Nitai ko aap pe naaz ho.
It is true that in this age of Kali it is extremely difficult to find a real Guru. However, it is also true that when a disciple is ready, a Guru appears automatically. But the problem is that in this Kali Yuga, people themselves fail to become genuine seekers of a genuine Guru. It is a hopeless situation. That is why there is an urgent need to spread Nitai’s name all over. Nitai acts as the best Guru of even those who are not seeking any real spiritual progress.
For genuine seekers, a genuine Guru appears.
For ignorant fools, Adi-Guru Nitai appears.
निताइ! The Hare Krishna Mahamantra is replete with Radhey-Shyam’s love for each other. Radha’s love for Krishna and Krishna’s love for Radha. The Mahamantra is not just the glorification of Radha and Krishna, it is the glorification of their unparalleled love. It is overflowing with the divine couple’s madness for each other. We celebrate their eternal love by singing the Mahamantra! निताइ!
निताइ! We can’t imagine how grateful Jagai and Madhai must be to Nitai throughout their lives. Everyday they must be crying profusely in gratitude. Their every drop of tear was a testimonial of Nitai’s unparalleled mercy. निताइ!
King Prataparudra wanted to meet Gauranga Mahaprabhu desperately. But Mahaprabhu was adamant not to meet a king as He was playing the role of a Sannyasi. Prataparudra became so desperate that he was going to give up his kingdom and become a mendicant. He had lost all hopes of meeting Mahaprabhu. He felt completely dejected.
“The Lord has descended just to deliver all kinds of sinful, lowborn persons. He has even delivered sinners like Jagai and Madhai. But it seems that He has made a promise to deliver the entire universe with the exception of someone named Prataparudra. He may have sworn not to see me, but I have sworn to give up my life if I cannot see Him. Without Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s mercy, my life and kingdom are worthless.” (Chaitanya Charitamrita 2.11.45-6, 48-9)
At this point, Nitai came to his rescue. Our Doyal Nitai is an expert in rescuing everyone.
Nitai requested Mahaprabhu to give His used loincloth (bahirvasa) to Prataparudra. Mahaprabhu agreed and Nitai asked Govinda for the loincloth and sent it to the King via Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya. Prataparudra was overjoyed to receive the cloth and he began to worship it as though it were the Lord Himself.
This is a very deep Lila of Nitai. Nitai knew that without adequately worshipping Him, King Prataparudra will not be able to attain the lotus feet of Gaurasundar. That is why He made this arrangement.
“He (Nitai) serves Lord Krishna, assuming all the following forms: umbrella, slippers, bedding, pillow, garments, resting chair, residence, sacred thread and throne.” (Chaitanya Charitamrita Adi 5.123)
We know that the garments of Gaur-Krishna are non-different from Nitai. He sent Himself to Prataparudra so that after worshipping Nitai (in the form of the loincloth of Gaur) the king becomes qualified to attain Gaur-Krishna’s direct audience. Can anyone imagine to what extent Nitai goes to unite the Jivas with the Supreme Lord? Can anyone bypass His mercy and worship and directly seek the audience of Gaur-Krishna? Simply not possible!
Worthless disciple of Shrila Nitaipreshthji,
You just absorb yourself in Nitai bhajan. Nitai bhajan means Nitai Vayulekhan, Nitai kirtana, Nitai Lila Sravana. You absorb yourself in these activities and you will automatically feel some attachment, spontaneous attachment for dhama, as dhama is a manifestation of Nitai only.
Once you get attached to Nitai, you will try to associate yourself with everything that is Nitai and in one way everything is Nitai because the entire material and spiritual creation is coming from Nitai. But obviously there is a difference between a direct relation and an indirect relation. The external energy is indirectly related to Nitai but the holy dhams, the spiritual abodes of the Lord are directly Nitai, direct manifestations of Nitai. So why won’t you get that intense desire to visit dhama or stay in dhama, once you get attached to Nitai, when you realise that dhama is also Nitai? Obviously you will.
The darshana of the Lord is only possible by first coming to dhama, by first staying in dhama, by first having the desire to see the dhama which the Lord has mercifully manifested in this material world. We are reluctant to see the dhama. We don’t have any desire to see the dhama, how can we have a direct desire to see the Lord? The Lord has manifested the dhama for us so first we should have an intense desire to see the dhama. First we should be vyakula antara (anxious from inside). You know we should be disturbed from inside always, “When will I go to dhama? When will I be able to go to dhama? When will I be able to stay in dhama?” That constant vyakulta (spiritual anxiety) should be there. If you are vyakula (anxious) to see the dhama, then only your desire to see the Lord is genuine. Otherwise it is bogus. Joy Ekachakra! Joy Radhakund!
You know how to seek the lord’s darshana? First seek the darshan of the dhama. That is the first step we have to take. And this is being taught in an expert manner by Shrila Nitaipreshthji. I am just speaking and he is actually staying. And it is said “actions speak louder than words.” He is staying in dhama always. Even if he leaves Ekachakra, he will leave Ekachakra to go to Radha Kunda, not to come to Delhi or Mumbai or Dubai or Switzerland. Dhama to dhama, only dhama. Jeena yahan marna yahan, iske siwa jana kahan. This is Shrila Nitaipreshthji’s motto. (He says) “I have to live in dhama. I have to give up my body in dhama and I have to go to Goloka from dhama to dhama.” He says that the dhama is the airport. The plane will not land anywhere else. Not in Delhi. It is a huge airport in Delhi, in fact two terminals. But the plane of Goloka will not come here. This is not national or international flight. This is interloka flight. Interjagata flight. Loka is also too small you know for bhakti, for devotees. Loka is like going from bhuloka to bhuvarloka to swargaloka. That is for Yogis. This is interjagata flight from Bhautika Jagat (Material World) to Adhyatimika Jagat (Spiritual World). Do you think the Goloka’s plane will land in a city’s airport? That is insult to the plane of Goloka if it will land there. Goloka’s plane will land in Vrindavana. Goloka Vrindavana. Ekachakra’s plane will land in Yogapitha. So simple logic. Gurudev says its simple logic. It is not rocket science. You stay in dhama, you die in dhama, you go to dhama. From dhama to dhama. (Except if you are outside Dham and are fully engaged in carrying out the order of the spiritual master and spreading Nitai’s name… This was told to me by Gurudev)
